- USACE, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) Contracting Office intends to issue a sole source award to Qualisys North America, Inc., 1603 Barclay Blvd, Buffalo Grove, IL 60089-4544 to purchase six IP67 water resistant Oqus6+ motion capture cameras and required accessories including markers, manuals, cabling, power supplies, mounts, and licensing.� On site training and installation will be required. The material must be compatible in all aspects (form, fit, and function) with existing Qualisys camera systems presently acquired. The current Qualisys Series 6 Mocap System is comprised of four Oqus6+ cameras, and the new cameras must coordinate, connect, and interface with the existing system by linking with the current cameras through shared hardware, software, and analysis modules. The new cameras must have the following specifications: -���������� camera model number 500600+P (450 fps/6 MP) -���������� utilize the existing Qualisys Track Master Software -���������� process the exact time coded, synchronized time frame 2D mocap signals to enable the generation of 3D motion capture data -���������� must calibrate with the existing 2 point calibration wand and 4 marker fixed L-frame -���������� system must calibrate with existing Fixed Calibration technology using active and passive markers in order to cover large areas where other calibration methods are impractical This Notice of Intent is for information purposes only. The Government intends to procure from only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). This is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals and no solicitation is available. This acquisition is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures. There are no set-aside restrictions for this requirement. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 333316, Photographic and Photocopying Equipment Manufacturing, with a Small Business Size Standard of 1,000 employees. All sources eligible to provide this supply must respond in writing. Responses must be supported with clear and convincing evidence to clearly articulate the ability to provide the supply as outlined above. The contractor must also provide a description of their past experience in fulfilling requirements which are the same or similar to this requirement and references for each.� A request for documentation will not be considered as an affirmative response. If no responses are received within seven calendar (7) days after publication of this notice, to the effect that comparable services are available, and that it is more advantageous to the Government than obtaining this product through a sole source contract, then a sole source acquisition award will be made. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.� Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
