Solicitation Number: 12302020 Notice Type: Notice of Intent to Sole Source Title: Streaming/Encoding Equipment/Software Maintenance and Support Description: The National Institute of Health (NIH), National Library of Medicine (NLM), intends to award a sole source purchase order for the Center of Technology (CIT) to Telestream, for Telestream streaming/encoding equipment. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 541519-Other Computer Related Services. Telestream is the only responsible source known to provide the services needed. It is NLM's intent that the proposed action may be awarded on a sole source basis to Telestream under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Contractor Objectives and Tasks: The purpose of this acquisition is to provide software updates/technical support and hardware warranty for Telestream streaming/encoding equipment for the next generation videocast infrastructure. Sole Source Justification In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source, Telestream is the only organization who can provide the services needed. This is not a solicitation, nor is a solicitation available. However, all interested organizations may submit their capability statements and qualifications which will be considered by NLM. Responses must be in writing and must be submitted electronically to Damian Hurge, Contract Officer at hurgeda@mail.nih.gov �by 4:00 PM EST on, January 8, 2020. Proposals must include pricing information. No late responses will be accepted.
