- This amendment to the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation $ 36C24121Q0151 is to answer the following questions. ***THE DUE DATE AND TIME FOR THE SUBMISSION OF QUOTES HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO MONDAY, JANUARY 11, 2021 AT 5:00 PM EST.*** Is the request for 8 trainings per year that include 6 modules per training? Yes What is meant by incentive on page 4, third to last paragraph? Any incentive would be devised by VA leadership for the purpose of encouraging VA staff participation in the Employee Resiliency Program. Are you asking for 8 single-topic trainings, each for 200 employees? The requirement is for 8 single topic trainings which will train 200 employees per year, i.e., up to 25 employees per training session. The PWS describes six modules that are to be developed. Is there a min or max length for each module? Max length of each module should be less than two hours. What is the duration of the leadership workshop in year 1? Will the workshop be on-site, off-site, or virtual? Due to COVID-19 Pandemic restrictions, these will be virtual in nature. With the option to make up the sessions in year two, is it expected to offer the same number of training sessions as offered in year one? Yes. Year 1 lists a focus group and leadership training - Do each of those also receive the training questioned in my first bullet (i.e., 8 training sessions for the focus group and 8 training sessions for leadership), or are those two groups to receive a summarized or adjusted version of the training plan? The focus group training will be the initial pilot program prior to rolling it out for VA employees. The Leadership Training Group should be an adjusted version to address specific stressors impacting VA Leadership. How many Leadership members do you have? Up to 25. How many Focus group members will you have? Up to 25 Does the VACHS want the focus group and leaders to be trained first before offering the other 8 training sessions to the other 200 employees? Yes. If onsite training will be allowed, what is the site location address? If it is determined that it is safe to conduct on-site trainings, these would take place at the West Haven Campus of the VA Connecticut Healthcare System.
