- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT FOR INFORMATION (SSI) ONLY This SSI is issued solely for information and planning purposes it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. Solicitations are not available at this time. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the United States Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the United States Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the United States Government. Not responding to this SSI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued.� The USPFO for Nebraska on behalf of the Nebraska Air and Army National Guard is surveying the market for potential contractors capable of providing catered meals and boxed lunches across the State of Nebraska to multiple units training at multiple sites on the same weekend of Individual Development Training (IDT) and/or for Annual Training events that last up to three (3) weeks based on the units yearly training calendars. The period of performance would be for a full calendar year beginning in October of 2021 with an expectation that the contract could be for the establishment of a Blanket Purchase Agreement for catered meals statewide; multiple agreements will be made as needed to meet the requirements. The expected period of performance is five years with options possible to extend up to five additional years. Contractors must include their business size, type (Hub zone, 8a, etc.), area of state in which you are willing to service (see attached Regional Breakdown of State) and if you are a mobile caterer with self-contained resources. �The contractor can coordinate with outside sources that will ensure all meals are provided as per the Performance Work Statement for the each unit�s individual needs and particular situation.� The contractor and/or its subcontractors shall be required to be self-sufficient and provide all labor, materials, subsistence, equipment and any other necessities in order to provide a catered meal plan that can consist of hot breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals and/or boxed lunches. Meals may be served buffet and/or full service style feeding may be required as some of the kitchens at the Readiness Centers and/or Training Sites are not sufficient to prepare meals in.��The contractor shall provide all meals in bulk to be delivered on locations as required per the needs of the soldiers and the unit.� The contractor must provide positive information that shows the company has the capabilities to provide meals at multiple locations during the same time frame for up to 300 soldiers at any location and up to 450 Airmen at the Lincoln Air National Guard Base.� There are weekends that we have as many as 27 units training at 27 different locations across the State. �The Contractor shall provide all paper products to feed and to include: individualized utensil packages, disposable hot and cold beverages, paper napkins and associated single service condiments that complement the meal for all meals.
