- The Department of Veteran Affairs, Networking Contracting Office (NCO1) located in Brockton, MA intends to enter into a sole source procurement, pursuant to the authority of FAR 6.302-1, with AGFA US Corp. for the following requirement: Scope of Work The contractor will be the provider of the Relocation of the DR 400 system. The services covered by this SOW consist of the following activities: Project Management Relocation of AGFA provided hardware and software On-site installation of AGFA provided hardware & software Acceptance testing of AGFA installed hardware & software Configuration of AGFA installed software Applications for AGFA installed hardware & software Site Planning The contractor will deliver one (1) final site plan, based on: The preliminary site plan Final input from Customer Final input from the architect and design team The preliminary and final site plans must be signed by Customer. This signifies acceptance of room layout, orientation and room preparation requirements. The contractor will provide up to three (3) preliminary site plans and one (1) version of the final site plan. Additional plans may incur additional costs at the responsibility of the Customer. The preliminary and final site plans give a schematic overview of the layout of the site and the DR 800 system in the site. They are not meant to serve as architectural or construction drawings and should only be used as reference. System Relocation The contractor will relocate the DR 400 to the Customer s site as specified in the Project Schedule. AGFA will de-install and re-install the DR 400 system and transport it to the site at which the system will be installed. The contractor will charge an additional cost if: · The system requires special rigging considerations such as: Crane Over Stairs Window / Wall Access Small Access Corridors and Doorways ·The crates in which the system is delivered cannot easily pass through all doorways, corridors and staircases or do not easily fit in the elevator. The project manager will determine appropriate delivery path with Customer. Installation The contractor will re-install the DR 400 at the site, connect all components of the system, and connect the system to the hospital network. It is the responsibility of the Customer to provide necessary IT information to do so. AE Titles IP Addresses Subnets and Gateways Active Ports The contractor will provide the system MAC Address at time of installation. (Already provided, Existing) Customer must provide remote connectivity requirements to complete system installation, integration, and configuration tasks of Agfa s system. Secure Remote Service System (SRSS), requires access to the DR 400 system. Customer will be responsible for providing power to the DR 400 generator as specified in the final site plan. Customer is responsible for providing the electrician to make the final connection of the power to the DR 400 generator. Initial System Set-up and Configuration The contractor will set up the DR 400 system based on input provided by Customer. Customer is responsible for ensuring this input is in compliance with local regulations. The contractor will perform an initial configuration of the system by customizing the NX/MUSICA Workstation according to the AGFA standard. During the installation, the contractor will set-up: Adaptation of the default exam tree and X-ray parameters RIS Protocol codes configuration Image quality adaptations including taste settings Musica (3+) Integration with other Systems The contractor will perform an integration of the DR 400 system with other systems or peripherals during system implementation, such as: Interface to a PACS system Interface to a RIS system Connection of a printer or DVD burner Validation The contractor will support a conformance test, performed by a physicist. Customer is responsible for providing said physicist and all associated costs. Physicist testing may be executed in the presence and with the cooperation of AGFA staff. Any additional time over 3 hours will be charged to the customer. Items outside Scope All items not explicitly mentioned in the preceding paragraphs are not included in the scope of the project. Turnkey Construction. This can be part of the Purchase Order handled as a separate quote. AGFA US Corp. will be awarded this procurement because the current warranty does not allow for other companies to move and reinstall the XRAY to vendor specification. In order to maintain the warranty of equipment, the reinstallation needs to be done by an AGFA certified vendor. All AGFA certified vendors are employed by AGFA US Corp. Damage done to equipment during moving and reinstallation by other companies is not covered and we would be responsible for the ensuing repair costs. The NAICS code for this requirement is 541519. This notice of intent is not a solicitation nor is it a request for proposal. However, interested parties that believe they can satisfy the requirement listed above must clearly identify their capability to do so in writing by Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at 5:00 pm EST time. Information submitted in response to this notice will be used solely to determine whether competitive procedures could be used for this acquisition. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
