- Description
- This is a sources sought and notice of intent to sole source the AFSTS multiple award IDIQ . This action willmodify the existing contracts (FA701420D0003 -0010) to increase the ceiling of the multiple award Air Force Strategic Transformation Support (AFSTS) IDIQ from $990 Million to $2 Billion. Program requirements continue to reflect the high operational tempo and the urgent need for new capabilities required for new missions in support of highly complex issues across the Federal Government. With the influx of requirements (specifically the Department of the Army) and increased numbers of federal agencies requesting support that were not originally captured in the scope of the IDIQ, the ceiling value of $990M will no longer meet the increasing demand for support to transform the Government. The following contractors successfully demonstrated capabilities, experience, and expertise to meet the requirements outlined in the original solicitation: Tier 1 BCG Federal Corp Grant Thornton Public Sector LLC McKinsey & Company, Inc. Washington D.C. Tier 2 Accenture Federal Services LLC Booz Allen Hamilton, Inc. Deloitte Consulting, LLP Digital Mobilizations Inc. KPMG, LLP If in its best interest, the Government may reopen competition at any time during the term of the contract to add additional contractors to the original pool of awardees. The addition of other contractors, however, will not extend the overall term of the contract beyond the original five (5) year base ordering period. Any awardee already in a tier will not recompete for a tier position. Once a new awardee is selected, that awardee will be included in the respective tier and it will compete for future orders in the awarded tier. The ordering period for new contractors will coincide with the remaining ordering period and shall not extend the overall term of the contract beyond the original ordering performance period nor shall it reestablish the contract base period. The Government does not anticipate additional qualified interested parties at this time. Although other vendors proposed during original solicitation, due to their lack of competitive advantage, they are not responsible sources that could satisfy the Government's requirements for this action. If your company is interested in this specific action, please provide a detailed capability statement that demonstrates your company's ability to meet all of the requirements to the POC listed on this posting NLT 9 Jan 2021 @ 10 AM EST.
