Description

This is a notice of intent that the US Air Force Life Cycle Management Center�s Propulsion Directorate (AFLCMC/LP)�anticipates issuing�a ten (10) year, firm-fixed price, sole source, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract for services.� The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued in accordance with (IAW) 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii). This effort for F139 Engine, Engineering Sustainment Support (EESS), the term �F139� will be used to refer to the F139-PW-100 (PW4062-3). The Contractor shall provide the following general services: Program Management (PM), Scheduled and Unscheduled Engineering Support, Flight line Support in technical service advisory services or Field Service Representative (FSR), Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) activities, Quick Engine Change (QEC) Material/Part Support, QEC Repair, QEC Engineering Support, Material, Material Management, and Material Reporting. A Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) �F139_PW4062_3_EngineSustainment was posted originally on 24 July 2017, with a final posting on 19 May 2020.� The government anticipates awarding this contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1,""Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements."" This synopsis, or notice of intent, does NOT constitute an Invitation for Bids (IFB) or a Request for Proposals (RFP), nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation to the Contracting Officer by the date listed in this notice, which shall be considered by the agency.� Information received will normally be considered soley for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.� A determination by he Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.�Note, the government will not reimburse any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice.
