Description

The Naval Air Systems Command awarded a modification to Contract N00019-16-C-0048 with Sikorsky, A Lockheed Martin Company, Stratford, CT for the organic capability pilot repair material, technical publications, peculiar support equipment and logistics support for the CH-53K aircraft. This procurement was procured in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2), in that Sikorsky is the only known source possessing the requisite knowledge, technical expertise, special skills, technical data, facilities, and experience to provide the �logistics support on the CH-53K. (18) Place of Contract Performance: Shelton, CT (53.10%),� Bohemia, NY (13.86%), Rockmart, GA (9.54%), Los Angeles, CA (7.91%), Forest, OH (2.59%), Redmond, WA (2.36%), Stratford, CT (1.62%), Blacksburg, VA (1.11%), Other locations in the United States (7.82%) and various locations outside the Continental United States (0.09%).
