Description
AMENDMENT 1: Extended Response Date to 26 January 2021, 5PM EST. No Other Changes The Department of Defense�s Prototypes and Experiments office will conduct a Solutions Meeting on behalf of the Air Force Warfighter Integration Center (AFWIC) and the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) in Late Spring 2021, which will be conducted virtually. The meeting will provide selected innovative companies with an opportunity to make short technical presentations to government representatives about their technologies and products. There is a potential for companies to be selected for pilot projects or experimentation if their technology appears to match the needs below. The 711th Human Performance Wing of AFRL in collaboration with the Disruptive Technologies Team at AFWIC are looking for technologies in the following areas to support Agility Operations through just-in-time training technologies that promote warfighter adaptability to support multi-mission operational requirements in austere environments: Modeling and Simulation Risk modeling for critical technologies protection Scenario creation for experimentation Holographic display Gaming Technologies Neuromorphic computing/engineering Telemedicine Integrated Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) training and operations Interactive Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) capability and tools Computing at the Edge Brain Machine Interface (BMI) technologies Advanced visualization tools Collaboration Tools Persistent, secure, covert networks High throughput interconnects Disadvantaged and disconnected communications Analytic tools in low bandwidth/computing environments Storage and applications at the edge End user content development �Human systems integration Health and Human Performance and Remediation Smart Fabrics & Sensors Monitor Vital Signs Wearable Computer Systems Flexible / Wearable Sensors Haptics Cognitive state assessment Environmental monitoring (e.g., CBRNE; DE) Electroceuticals Data analytics for performance assessment and prediction Multi-modal modeling and analysis to explore what-if scenarios Telemaintenance Applications Animated troubleshooting and tool use Software models and agents for instruction and real-time aiding AI Accelerators Psychometrics Individualized measures of aptitude Career-long performance and outcome measures Predictive models for performance and personnel retention Companies interested in participating in the Solutions Meeting should submit one (1) application to RRTO Innovation via e-mail to osd.pentagon.ousd-atl.mbx.rrto-innovation@mail.mil. Only 1 application is permitted per company, NOT 1 application per topic area or company business unit. The following information is required in the application. All application information should only be contained in the body of the email. No attachments are allowed. 1. Email subject line �Just-In-Time Multi-Mission Warfighter Application� 2. Company name 3. Website address 4. POC, email, phone number and an alternate POC if desired 5. A succinct description (100 words or less in length) of the one technology that the company plans to discuss if they are selected to present at the Solutions Meeting. This description should be about the technology/capability and should not include a description of the company. 6. Select the one technology area of the six bolded technology areas above that your technology BEST fits. Do not list multiple technology areas. All applications must be received on or before 5:00 PM EST, January 26, 2021. Submission of an application does not guarantee an invitation to the Solutions Meeting. Selected companies are responsible for their travel and all other expenses associated with participation in the Just-In-Time Multi-Mission Warfighter Solutions Meeting
