- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) issues this combined/synopsis with a solicitation number 15BNAS21QRCA00021 and it is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), for Radiological equipment safety surveys and Radiology monitoring services for its current institutions. The solicitation document with the incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-4. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541690 with a small business size standard of $16.5 million. This requirement is a Small Business Set-Aside. The solicitation closes on January 12, 2021 12:00 pm Eastern Standard Time (ET). The solicitation will be distributed through the web site at https://beta.sam.gov/. The Beta.Sam.Gov website provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including amendments, will be distributed through this site. The BOP intends to make a single award, requirement-type Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) with firm-fixed unit prices for a one year base period and four one-year option periods, including a potential 6 month extension, for the acquisition of radiological equipment safety surveys and radiology monitoring services.� The contracting office is located at the Federal Bureau of Prisons, National Acquisitions and Systems Office, 320 First Street, NW.
