- Update 5 JAN 2021: Answers to bidder questions posted. _____________ Prospective prime offerors within area of consideration may request Attachment J-3 References, and Exhibit A - CDRLs and DIDs from Chris Davidson at christopher.t.davids@navy.mil. _____________ The Regional Maintenance Center at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF), Bremerton, Washington intends to award a stand-alone Firm-Fixed-Price contract to accomplish maintenance, repair and preservation on YC 1490 & 1664. The equipment characteristics can be found in Section 1.1 of the attached Statement of Works (SOWs). The contractor's facility must possess the capability of accommodating the YC 1490 & 1664 with the characteristics as found in the SOW. Coordinate with the Contracting Officer, via the Contracting Officer�s Representative (COR) to deliver the vessel to the Contractor�s facility. Upon docking vessel, dock, wash and clean the exterior surfaces of the vessel. Remove existing and install new zinc anodes. Blast and preserve all exterior surfaces of vessel. Accomplish visual inspection and ultrasonic test (UT) inspection of the underwater body hull, freeboard, main deck and bulwarks. Open, clean, ventilate, gas free and maintain dry each tank/void on the vessel. Accomplish visual inspection of interior surfaces of vessel. Accomplish repairs to rubber fenders. Repair manholes covers and assembles. Accomplish tank/void preservation. Accomplish pre-air and final air test of tank/voids. Install new non-skid to main deck. Undock the vessel. Arrange and coordinate the delivery of the vessel back to the Government with the Contracting Officer via the COR. The Period of Performance (POP) is scheduled to be 08 July 2021 to 29 September 2021. This is a 100% small business set-aside under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 336611, size 1,250 employees. The anticipates to award a Firm-Fixed Price, stand-alone contract in March 2020 to the responsible contractor on a lowest price, technically acceptable basis in accordance with but not limited to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.101-2. All offerors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) to receive award of Government contracts. Offerors are advised also that SAM representations and certifications can be completed electronically via the System for Award Management website at https://www.sam.gov.
