Description
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine and Aviation Operations/Marine Operations Center - Atlantic requires annual inspection and service of the fire system on NOAA Ship Thomas Jefferson. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. � Solicitation number NM-AN2120-19-00196 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-02. This acquisition is a full and open competition�under NAICS code 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Repair and Maintenance; the small business size standard is $7.5M. Line items are as follows: CLIN 1: Perform item 301 Annual Fire System Servicing CLIN 2: Perform Item 501 SCBA Servicing CLIN 3: Perform item 400 additional items requirement Description of requirements for the items to be acquired: The vendor is to perform annual inspection and service of NOAA Ship Thomas Jefferson fire protection system IAW with Statement of Work, 46 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 71.25-20, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Codes and Standards, and must be ABS certified or provide ABS Certified Inspection. Date(s) and place(s) of delivery and acceptance and FOB point. � All service and Condition Found Report work must be completed during the Period of Performance: 02/01/2021-02/12/2021. � Service location is: NOAA Ship Thomas Jefferson 439 West York Street Norfolk, VA 23510 Additionally, each offeror must provide the following information with the quote: The Request for Quote (RFQ) number; 2. The Name, Address, Telephone Number, and DUNS Number of the Offeror; 3. Include a statement specifying the extent of agreement with all terms, conditions, and provisions included in the RFQ. Quotes that reject the terms and conditions of the RFQ may be excluded from consideration;� 4. Acknowledgment of Solicitation Amendments (SF-30), if any. 5. Address the ability of meeting the requirements per the Specifications with a detail material specification or data sheet, pictures of the item, and authorized OEM letter to sale or distribute their products. 6. Hourly rate in the event there is additional work, and material markup cost (if applicable). 7. Proof�of Certification if applicable to this requirement. Offers shall submit quotes electronically via email to Christopher.baker@noaa.gov no later than 1700 hrs EST, January 07, 2021. Purchase Order will be issued after evaluation of quotes and made to the vendor whose quote meets the availability of the Period of Performance, Past Performance of 3 or more Similar Jobs done in the past 3 years, and price.
