- Description
- The Government intends to issue a sole source (Gigli, CAGE 1CU83) solicitation on or about 20 January 2021 with a close date of 20 February 2021 for the spares buy (supply) of the F100-PW-220 Tube Assembly, Metal.� The requirement is anticipated to be a Firm Fixed Price, Fixed Quantity contract.� This notice of intent does not in itself represent the issuing of a formal request for proposal and is not intended to be taken as such. The requirements set forth in this notice are defined per USAF PR FD2030-21-00415 as follows: � 1) List of applicable CLINs: CLIN 0001:� Supply of NSN(s): 4710-01-508-7847NZ, P/N: 4087040 Noun:� Tube Assembly, Metal Quantity:� 25 EA Application:� F100-PW-220 Engine Item description and function:� 24.00 inches long X 2.00 inches wide X 2.00 inches high, weighing 3 lbs., and composed of Steel, form: prebent. This item supplies cooling air to the number 4 bearing area. This is a CRITICAL SAFETY ITEM (CSI). 2) Required delivery: Delivery for CLIN 0001 is anticipated to be: 10 units on 01 OCT 2022 10 units on 01 NOV 2022 05 units on 01 DEC 2022 *with early delivery acceptable. 3)� Quality Requirements:� Higher Level Contract Quality Requirements FAR 52.246-11, ISO 9001:2015, AS 9100, NATO AQAP2070, (or equivalent) 4) Surplus Material Requirements: �Find applicable Surplus Material Worksheet and Surplus Material Evaluation sheet. OMBUDSMAN (AUG 2005) (An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition.) The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
