Description

This solicitation is for 70 Lifting Platforms for the National Logistics Support Center in Grandview, MO.� The Lifting Platforms will assist in the weather balloon release process by�deactivating�the solenoid switch that cuts off the flow of hydrogen or helium gas to the balloon once it has reached its predetermined lift. Please make sure to follow the Offeror Instructions.� The NAICS code for this action is 334513. The government intends to procure using FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The government requires all contractors doing business with the government to be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM). For additional Information and to register in SAM, please access the following website: www.sam.gov. In order to register with SAM and to be eligible to receive an award, all offerors must have a Dun & Bradstreet number, which may be acquired free of charge by contacting Dun & Bradstreet online at http://fedgov.dnb.com/webform or by the phone at 1-866-705-5711.� Award will not be made to any contractor that is not registered in SAM.
