- A. Description: DLA Distribution is seeking HUBZone companies that provide services and supplies commonly needed to support our distribution centers globally. This SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE (SSN) is being issued to determine the availability and capability of HUBZone Small Businesses. This information is being sought for market research and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as an Invitation for Bid, a Request for Proposal, Solicitation, Request for Quote, or an indication the Government will contract for the items or services herein. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract, nor does the Government intend to pay for any information submitted as a result of this notice. The Government does not reimburse respondents for any cost associated with submission of the information being requested or reimburse expenses incurred to interested parties for responses to this source sought. Any response(s) received will not be used as a proposal or quote. No official solicitation currently exists in connection to this sources sought announcement. If in the future an official solicitation is released, there is no guarantee that sources responding to this announcement will be included on the source list. **QUESTIONS WILL NOT BE ENTERTAINED** B. Objective: The objective of this notification is to identify HUBZone Small Businesses that are capable of providing services and/or supplies needed to support the mission of DLA Distribution. This market research will assist DLA Distribution in determining the possibility of setting aside specific types of acquisitions for HUBZone concerns. C. List of Services / Supplies being sought: The following are potential services that a vendor may be requested to perform. 1. Warehouse & Distribution Support Services 2. Vendor Managed Inventory 3. Electronic Security Systems Preventative and Corrective Maintenance 4. Material Handling Equipment Preventative and Corrective Maintenance 5. Conveyor System Replacement / Removal 6. Crane Replacement / Removal 7. Crane Preventative and Corrective Maintenance 8. Labor and Logistics Support Services 9. Sign Language and Interpretation Services 10. Building Repair & Alterations and Equipment Repairs The following are potential supplies that a vendor may be requested to provide. 1. Material Handling Equipment 2. Utility Vehicles 3. Packaging Materials 4. Boxes and Box Kits 5. Stretch Wrap Machines 6. Shipping Sacks 7. Bubble Wrap 8. MHE Batteries 9. MHE Repair Parts 10. Cushioning and Dunnage Materials D. Security Clearance: In the event a contract for services is awarded, contractors will need to comply with personnel security requirements and may be subject to a full background check/investigation. For supply acquisitions, the majority of supplies are commercial items and may not require a clearance. F. Instructions: Respondents shall include the information required in sections F. and G. below. Submissions are due via email to Nicholas.Giustra@dla.mil no later than February 05, 2021 at 1:00 pm EST. � 1. Please provide the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes your company is registered under in the System for Award Management (SAM). 2. Please provide the following: Organization Name DUNS Number Organization�s Website Contact Name Contact Telephone Number Contact E-mail Address Business Size Designation (HUBZone) 3. Government contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) or have the ability to register prior to the issuance of a Government contract. Please confirm if your company is registered in SAM or has the ability to register. Information Requested Interested parties, after reviewing the services/supplies listed above (listed in section C) please respond to the following questions below (1-4): Responses to this notice will be used in determining whether the subsequent acquisitions can be reserved for HUBZone small businesses.� Failure to provide the information requested in this SSN may have a negative impact on future set-aside decisions. 1. Please provide a short narrative explaining your company�s capability in providing any of the services/supplies listed in section C of this SSN. 2.� Provide a Capability Statement � limited to 6 pages in length, one-sided, single-spaced, 11 point font minimum. 3.� Past Performance Information Form � See Attachment 1 for completion. Provide 3 past performance contracts within the last 5 years that are the same or similar in scope to the services/supplies listed in Section C of this SSN. Each past performance contract shall be on a separate Past Performance Information Form.� One form per past performance contract. You MUST state whether you were a prime or subcontractor for each of the 3 past performance contracts and describe your role in contract performance. You MUST type your company�s name, address, cage code, POC name, and sign and date the Past Performance Information Form. 4.�Additional Information Form � See Attachment 2 for completion. Vendors MUST type the company name, address, cage code, POC name, and sign and date the Additional Information Form. For Services � Please provide geographic location(s) where you are able and interested in obtaining contracts. (Example � Pennsylvania, Mid-Atlantic Region, Continental US, Global.) For Supplies � Any delivery limitations? Capacity issues? Is your company a manufacturer or reseller/distributor? All respondents to this notice will be confirmed as HUBZone small businesses certified through Representations and Certifications in the System for Award management (SAM) database.� Responses received from any company that is not a small business concern will not be considered.�
