Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 15 intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253(c) (1) FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to Sustainable Modular Management, Inc. located at 14850 Quorum Dr. Ste 205, Dallas, TX, 75254-1444. Sustainable Modular Management will provide a 4,834 ABOA square foot modular building with an elevator that is currently under contract (GS-07F-0383V) that expires on February 10th, 2021. The building is owned by the current contract holder and is physically located on the grounds of the Harry S. Truman Medical Center property. The new contract period will be for a period of 3 years at which time the building will be required to be removed from the facility in order to facilitate new construction planned for the site on which it is located. The place of performance is at the Harry S. Truman Memorial Veteran Hospital located at 800 Hospital Dr. Columbia, MO 65201 The NAICS code is 332311 with a size standard of 750 Employees. The solicitation number is 36C25521Q0043. This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract with a period of performance of one Base Year and 2 possible Option Years. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; interested parties may express their interest by providing a capabilities statement NLT January 11,2021. The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required services. Vendors must consider the costs and significant logistics involved with installing and uninstalling such buildings. Please note that there is no available space to house the displaced workers if there where a change in contractors and modular buildings. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to Announcement, Notice of Intent. If after January 11, 2021 no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement, Department of Veterans Affairs shall negotiate solely with Sustainable Modular Management, Inc. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Phone calls will not be accepted.
