Description
Project Title: Install Vehicle The contractor shall provide all materials, labor, tools, equipment, insurance, supervision and any other items required to complete the Install Mohawk Lift project at the Minneapolis VAMC, 1 Veterans Dr., Minneapolis Mn, 55417.,Construction Project will includes but it not limited to the following: The Minneapolis Veteran Affairs Health Care System (MVAHCS) requires the installation of a vehicle lift that can lift up to 10,000 lbs. Installation will meet or exceed all Mohawk lift recommendations . Install a concrete slab that will support a vehicle lift in the bay of Building 72 located across the street from the main hospital. Remove a section of concrete floor with minimum dimensions of 14 ft x 6 ft located in bldg. 72 Grounds Maintenance Bay. Prepare base and install rebar in accordance with New Slab Recommendations outlined in the Mohawk TP-16 lift installation manual. Pour and finish new slab (Minimum 12 inches thick) with necessary re-enforcement. Mix will be salt resistant and rated at 5000 PSI. Hand mixed concrete is not authorized an will not be used After full cure of concrete (minimum 28 days), Install/assemble Mohawk lift. System will be anchored with twenty wej-it anchors that are a minimum of ¾ diameter and measure 6 inches long. Project Deducts: None. Expected Asbestos or Lead: None The Period of Performance is expected to be 60 calendar days from the receipt of the Notice-To-Proceed (NTP). THIS SOLICITATION IS SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES (SDVOSBs) UNDER PUBLIC LAW 109-461.
