Description

Notice of Intent to Contract with a Single Source: �The Federal Aviation Administration, Terminal Construction Group, Boston Office, AAQ-550 intends to award a single source contract to Archer Western Construction LLC (AWC), Chicago, IL. The Federal Aviation Administration, proposes to acquire, under single source procedures the GSO ASR9 Shelter Relocation project at Greensboro, NC. In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System, AMS 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA�s decision to contract with a selected source when it is determined to be in the best interest of the FAA. �This procurement is considered to be single-sourced. �On 9/2/20, the FAA posted a Market Survey announcement (attached) on SAM.BETA seeking vendors that are capable and interested in performing the above mention work. �Contractors were required to submit a qualifications and capabilities in meeting the requirements in accordance with the provided FAA Specifications and Drawings. �Based on the analysis of the timely responses received under this Market Survey, AWC was deemed the only qualified contractor that could meet the immediate need of this project. This announcement is for informational purposes only and not a Solicitation/Request for Proposal. �This requirement will be awarded to AWC and is not available for full and open competition.
