- Description
- This is a notice of contract action (NOCA). This is not a solicitation for quotes. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this NOCA or any follow-up information requests. The purpose of this NOCA is to notify industry of the VA s intent of contact action and possibly gain knowledge of other potentially-qualified sources and their size classifications. Notice of contract action: Miami VA Contracting intends to issue a sole source, firm fixed price contract under FAR part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR part 8, Required Sources of Supplies and Services, to Steris Corporation for the provision of Innowave PCF Sonic Irrigator and associated items. The estimated value of the acquisition is $91,484.01. Vendors who believe they can meet the requirements should submit a capability statement, providing clear and convincing evidence supporting the assertion, and should address (and be comparable to) the following: Information available to the CO indicates that the Innowave employs thermal disinfection, a process unique to the system. Devices do not pass through the instrument washer and are safe to go directly into sterilization after processing in the Innowave. This process saves time and increases throughput by eliminating the extra step of running instruments through washers. In addition, any comparable offers must offer complete, validated thermal disinfection processing for da Vinci Si and Xi devices. All information shall be in writing, sent via email, and must contain sufficient detail to allow the government representative to evaluate and determine if it can meet the requirement. Responses must be received no later than 12:00pm EST, January 13, 2021.
