Description

The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) intends to release a request for quote (RFQ) for a firm fixed price contract to provide a qualified Caterpillar technical representative to perform engine maintenance on the main propulsion diesel engines.� This posting serves as a Pre-Solicitation notice in association with N32253-21-Q-0018. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 336611 and the size standard for this NAICS code is 1,250 employees. The Product Service Code is J020 Maintenance and Repair of Ship and Marine Equipment. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) by the award date. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2020-05, DFARS (last updated 03/30/2020), and NMCARS 18-09. Written offers shall be submitted in accordance with the CLIN structure and proposal instructions that will be outlined in the forthcoming solicitation, N32253-21-Q-0018. All offers shall be emailed to the primary and secondary point of contact listed in the upcoming posting. The tentative Period of Performance is 15 FEBRUARY 2021 � 15 MARCH 2021. The CLIN structure is as follows: 0001 � CLIN 0001 is for Main Propulsion Diesel Engine maintenance onboard the Deputy and Tour Barges in accordance with work specification HRMC-002-21. Work will be performed at PHNSY & IMF. The Solicitation for this requirement will be posted on or about 08 JANUARY 2021. All dates and information included in this announcement as subject to change.
