- Advance Contract Initiative (ACI) for Emergency Temporary Roof Repairs � Puerto Rico - Unrestricted On or about 25 January 2021, the Government intends to issue a solicitation for the Advanced Contract Initiative (ACI) for Emergency Temporary Roof Repairs � Puerto Rico Unrestricted. The solicitation will close on or about 25 February 2021. The Advanced Contract Initiative (ACI) for Emergency Temporary Roof Repairs is the federal government's initial mechanism for responding to emergency roof repairs caused by hurricanes, tropical storms, and other natural disasters. The solicitation will be for award of two (2) $45,000,000.00 Single Award Task Order Contracts (SATOCs) for the installation of emergency temporary roofing in Puerto Rico. The contracts will be awarded with a primary and secondary region to support. The contractor will have the primary region assigned, but will need to have the capability to support the secondary region, if needed. One contract: Primary East- Eastern half of the island Secondary West � Western half of island and remaining area in Puerto Rico to include Vieques and Culebra The second�contract: � Primary West - Western half of island and remaining area in Puerto Rico to include Vieques and Culebra Secondary East - Eastern half of the island The solicitation will be unrestricted and open to both Large and Small Business participation. An indefinite delivery SATOC will be awarded from this solicitation for a 7-year duration which includes a 5-year base period and a 2-year option period. All contractors must be registered and have an active and verified account in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to receive a contract from any DoD activity. Contractors may access the internet site at https://www.sam.gov/ to register and/or obtain information about the SAM program. Contractors must ensure that the applicable NAICS code is included in their proposal prior to submission of offer.
