Washington, DC 20006 Description This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. The Government reserves the right to make no award from this solicitation. This solicitation is a request for quotations (RFQ). The government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price purchase order resulting from this solicitation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-02, dated November 23, 2020. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 333517, Machine Tool Manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This solicitation is a 100% set-aside for Small Businesses. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Benefits Administration, Acquisition Division is soliciting quotations from Small Businesses to provide Brand Name Only Milling Machine, Lathe and Related Accessories as described below for a Chapter 31 Veteran at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Benefits Administration, St. Louis Regional Office. Respondents to this solicitation must fully demonstrate their capability by supplying detailed quote information along with any other documents necessary to support the requirements below. All interested companies shall provide quotation(s) for the following: Statement of Work A. General Information: A.1 Title of Project: Milling Machine, Lathe and Related Accessories for a Chapter 31 Veteran at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Benefits Administration, St. Louis Regional Office. A.2 Scope of Work: The contractor shall provide all items as described in Attachment 1 - Section B.1, Price/Cost Schedule to include F.O.B. Destination shipping to the Veterans mailing address (address will be provided separately upon request). Upon arrival of the equipment at the Veterans address, the equipment shall be unloaded by the Contractor from the delivery vehicle via liftgate and transported by the Contractor to the location indicated by the Veteran. No loading dock or forklift is available at the delivery site. A.3 Type of Contract: Commercial Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order A.4 Delivery Date: 90 Calendar Days After Receipt of Order A.5 Shipping and Delivery Location: F.O.B. Destination shipping to the Veterans mailing address (address will be provided separately upon request). Please see section A.2 above regarding delivery and transportation requirements. B.
