- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation or a request for quotes and no contract or purchase order will be awarded from this notice. Military Sealift Command (MSC) is owner and operator of more than one hundred ten (110) Government Owned Government Operated (GOGO) and Government Owned Contractor Operated (GOCO) civilian-mariner (CIVMAR) and contractor-mariner (CONMAR) manned ships and is responsible for ensuring the operational readiness of its ships throughout their active service period.� Each shipboard supply department plays an important role in overall MSC ship operations and provides key services, including supply and configuration management, combat logistics, food services, and hotel/laundry operations.� To a great degree, MSC�s ability to successfully execute its mission is dependent on continuous monitoring of various readiness indicators and providing effective, timely training of MSC personnel, ashore and afloat, and onboard ship assessments, inspections, and training.� The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to provide Supply Logistics and Food Service training, administrative support, and other associated services related to assessments, inspections, and training as defined in this Performance Work Statement except for those items specified as government furnished property and services.� The contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract. A DRAFT Performance Work Statement is provided detailing the specific tasks. Place of Performance: The work to be performed under this contract will be performed at various government, government or contractor contracted, and/or contractor facilities.� Some activities may be performed remotely (telework) along with virtual or interactive training through various platforms: ����������� MSC Training Classroom & Office Spaces, Building SP 312, Norfolk, VA ����������� MSC Office Spaces, Building W 143/4rd Floor, Norfolk, VA ����������� NAVSUP Training Classroom, Building W 143/3rd Floor, Norfolk, VA ����������� Navy Food Management Team (NFMT) Facility, Building W 143/6th Floor, Norfolk, VA ����������� Emprise Corporation, 600 Independence Parkway, Suite 102, Chesapeake, VA ����������� MSC Training Classroom, Building 216, Pt Loma, San Diego, CA ����������� Onboard MSC CIVMAR-operated vessels (at port and underway) Commercial Food Production Facility � Recipe Testing (CONUS) Navy Galleys in Tidewater, VA Area (If NFMT Facility is not available in W-143 6th Deck) Period of Performance: Phase In (Option Period)� 01 September 2021 � 30 September 2021 � Base Period:� 01 October 2021 � 31 August 2022 � One (1) Year Option Period One: 01 September 2022 � 31 August 2023 � One (1) Year Option Period Two (2) : 01 September 2023 � 31 August 2024 One (1) Year Option Period Three (3): 01 September 2024 � 31 August 2025 �One (1) Year Option Period Four (4):� 01 September 2025 � 31 August 2026 Phase Out (1 Month Option Period) � TBD All vendors are encouraged to respond. This office anticipates award of a contract no later than 31 AUGUST 2021.� The appropriate NAICS Code is 611519.� THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE OR PROPOSAL.� This is a market research tool used to determine the availability and adequacy of potential sources prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of an award.� The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this sources sought. It is requested that interested vendors submit to the contracting office a brief capabilities package demonstrating ability to provide the requested items. This document shall address, as a minimum the following: (1) Company Profile to include employee size standard, DUNS number, CAGE code; and the facility where the work will be performed.� There will not be a formal question and answer opportunity prior to the noted deadline below however, please feel free to submit your questions with your company�s capability statement.
