Page 1 of 1 NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE REQUIREMENT The Department of Veterans Affairs, Ralph H Johnson VAMC, NCO 7 Contracting Activity intends to negotiate a sole source contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) Only one source reasonably available for the following items listed below. The associated NAICS code for this is 511210. The vendor will be CONEXSYS Inc., 6 Blackstone Valley Place, Ste 402, Lincoln, RI 02865. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENTS: The Ralph H Johnson VAMC requires procurement of HI IQ Software program to provide management of inventory system and scheduling system for patients in Radiology Department. The system captures and reports on comprehensive patient, procedural, and inventory data. It facilitates compliance with quality improvement initiatives, encourages billing accuracy, as well as just in-time . The location and listing of the service data manuals, by name, and/or the manuals themselves shall be provided to the CO upon request. Any charges for parts, manuals, tools, or software required to successfully complete any service required are included within this contract and its agreed upon price unless specifically stated in writing otherwise. The VA will provide all labor and parts required for the installation of the aforementioned system and bring said system to full manufacturer's specifications. All parts must meet or exceed manufacturer s factory specifications to maintain compatibility with systems presently in place and with future performance/reliability upgrades. The vendor shall deliver and train appropriate staff on the proper use of the current version of an interventional radiology software package and subscription to the Radiology Department. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Feb. 1, 2021-Jan.31, 2022 Base plus 4 Option Years. It is the Government's belief that only the proposed candidate possesses the required capabilities to successfully meet this requirement. It is the Government's intention to solicit and negotiate with only this source. This notice is not a solicitation or a request for competitive quotes request for offers. No solicitation package is available. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than January 19th, at 8 AM EST. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
