- AMENDMENT 0001: The purpose of this amendment is to add the following information: This requirement is intended to include material and kitting requirements previously met under N0016417WP01 (Incumbent: High Bridge Solutions, LLC), N0016419DWP40 (Incumbent: Raytheon Company), as well as newly identified requirements as identified in the draft Statement of Work (SOW). � N0016421SNB17 - REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) � Kitting, acquisition, management, warehousing, and delivery of parts/materials used to overhaul multiple radar antenna systems and fire control systems.� FSC: 5340� �NAICS: 334511 Issue Date:� January 7, 2021 � Closing Date:� February 8, 2021� The Government is issuing this RFI announcement as part of market research only.� It does not constitute a Request for Proposal or Invitation for Bid.� This notice shall not be construed as a contract, a promise to contract, or as a commitment of any kind by the Government.� The Government is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals.� This RFI is issued solely for conducting market research in accordance with FAR Part 10 and gathering information for planning purposes. Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Crane, IN, is seeking information from companies that have the capability and facilities to obtain individual hardware items, inspect and determine if the hardware meets the Government requirements, assemble the individual parts into system repair kits, ensure parts within the kits are packed in a manner which prevents damage to the individual parts, that marking practices result in easy identification of the kits and individual parts, the ability to pass on stringent quality requirements to suppliers, warehouse, and deliver parts/materials used to overhaul multiple radar systems and fire control systems. �Interested businesses with the capability and facilities to provide this type of supply, as well as the experience/expertise, should review the draft Statement of Work (SOW) (Attachment 1) the draft Appendix A:� Parts/Materials List (Attachment 2) address all Item Numbers within the Industry Response Questionnaire (Attachment 3), and submit the requested information identified by the corresponding Item Number.� White papers, referenced within the Industry Response Questionnaire (Attachment 3), and submitted in conjunction with this RFI shall be in electronic format.� The font size shall not be smaller than 12 pt. font and margins shall not be less than � inches.� A cover page which includes the company name, address, CAGE Code, business size based on 1,250 employees for NAICS 334511, and points of contact shall be included.� The cover page is not considered in the total page count.� Respondents should clearly indicate on the cover page the corresponding Item Number or �Capability Statement�.� The Government may contact RFI respondents to obtain clarification on the information submitted. If additional clarification is required, a Capability Statement of no more than one (1) 8.5� x 11� page (font no smaller than 12 point), excluding a cover sheet, may be provided. �The cover sheet should clearly indicate the corresponding Item Number along with the �additional information clarification� statement.� Respondents are encouraged to provide comments regarding the viability of the SOW or portions thereof and any recommended additions, deletions, and edits. (b) Although ""proposal"" and ""offeror"" may be used in this Request for Information, your response will be treated as information only. �It shall not be used as a proposal. At the current time, NO FUNDING IS AVAILABLE for contractual efforts.� This RFI does not constitute an Invitation for Bids (IFB), a Request for Quote (RFQ), or a Request for Proposal (RFP) and it should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the government to issue a formal solicitation or ultimately award a contract.� The U.S. Government is in no way liable to pay for or reimburse any companies or entities that respond to this announcement.� Any costs incurred by interested companies in response to this announcement will NOT be reimbursed.
