- Description
- NASAs Technology Transfer Program solicits inquiries from companies interested in obtaining license rights to commercialize, manufacture and market the following technology. License rights may be issued on an exclusive or nonexclusive basis and may include specific fields of use. NASA provides no funding in conjunction with these potential licenses. THE TECHNOLOGY: There are several experimental setups involving rotating machinery that require some form of synchronization. Usual setups comprise several independent pieces of equipment often joined together with some customized hardware to account for incompatibilities or shortcomings. Innovators at NASA's Glenn Research Center have developed an Adaptive Phase Delay Generator that combines all of the desired synchronization control into one unit. The experimenter can adjust the delay, pulse width, pulse count, number of skipped pulses, and produce a specified number of pulses per revolution. Each of these parameters can be changed independently, providing an unparalleled level of versatility when synchronizing hardware to a host of rotating machinery. NASA Glenn's Adaptive Phase Delay Generator allows experimenters to quickly set up a host of synchronizing configurations using a simple user interface, leading to faster results. To express interest in this opportunity, please submit a license application through NASAs Automated Technology Licensing Application System (ATLAS) by visiting https://technology.nasa.gov/patent/LEW-TOPS-57 If you have any questions, please e-mail NASAs Technology Transfer Program at Agency-Patent-Licensing@mail.nasa.gov with the title of this Technology Transfer Opportunity as listed in this beta.SAM.gov notice and your preferred contact information. For more information about licensing other NASA-developed technologies, please visit the NASA Technology Transfer Portal athttps://technology.nasa.gov/ These responses are provided to members of NASAs Technology Transfer Program for the purpose of promoting public awareness of NASA-developed technology products, and conducting preliminary market research to determine public interest in and potential for future licensing opportunities. No follow-on procurement is expected to result from responses to this Notice.
