140R3021Q0010 - CO2 Bulk Tank Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Amendment 0002 (01/11/2021) - The purpose of this amendment is to provide the Questions and Answers, from the RFQ, and to revise Attachment 1 - Specifications. Amendment 0001 (12/23/2020) - The purpose of this amendment is to 1) add site visit information to this solicitation, 2) correct errors in Attachment 1 - Specifications, and 3) extend the questions and quote due dates. (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) To facilitate electronic quote submissions through beta.SAM Contract Opportunities, a request for quote (RFQ No. 140R3021Q0010) is being issued subsequent to this combined solicitation/synopsis. (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular number 2021-02. (iv) This requirement is being posted utilizing full and open competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is: 332420, Metal Tank (Heavy Gauge) Manufacturing. The small business size standard for NAICS Code 332420 is 750 employees. (v) Line Item 10: Low Pressure CO2 Bulk Tank, 1 Each, in accordance with Attachment 1 - Specifications Line Item 20: Delivery/Freight, 1 Lump Sum, in accordance with location in Attachment 1 - Specifications (vi) The Bureau of Reclamation has a requirement for a contractor to supply one (1) new 2-3/4-ton, low pressure carbon dioxide (CO2) storage tank (see Attachment 1 - Specifications). (vii) Award is anticipated on or about January 25, 2020, with delivery required within 100 calendar days after award. Delivery shall be made to Bureau of Reclamation, Hoover Dam Central Warehouse, State Route 172, Boulder City, NV 89005-0400. Free parking is available on the Arizona side of the dam, but please allow walking time of 10-15 minutes to get to the meeting location. It is strongly encouraged that any prospective offerors attend the site visit.
