- The Danville VAMC seeks two electric vehicles that are street legal, provide weather protection, and low the ground for Veteran safety when entering and exiting the vehicle. The electric charger must accommodate a standard 110-volt outlet. Please respond to this sources sought notice if you wish to be considered for this procurement. All responses must demonstrate how the equipment meets or exceeds the salient characteristics provided below. The VA may proceed with a sole source to Polaris if an authorized dealer or other transport company cannot meet the following salient characteristics: Salient Characteristics Vehicle 1 * Enclosure removable doors and or windows * white exterior * heater * fan * windshield and windshield wipers * turn signal * headlights, high and low beams * automatic vehicle * vehicle to accommodate 6 passengers * radio * storage space or trunk * electric powered vehicle with a charging system for a standard 110-volt outlet * Absorbent Glass Mat Battery, to allowing for minimal daily maintenance * safety belts * low to the ground for Veteran safety, entering and exiting vehicle; 8 approximate step * adjustable driver's seat * durable non-slip flooring or non-slip floor mats * weather resistant interior * Disc braking systems * Sturdy Suspension * Interior cabin lights * Adjustable Captain s chairs * Reverse lights Vehicle 2 * Enclosure removable doors and or windows * white exterior * heater * fan * windshield and windshield wipers * turn signal, self-canceling * headlights, high and low beams * automatic vehicle * vehicle to accommodate 4 passengers * radio * storage space or trunk * electric powered vehicle with a charging system for a standard 110-volt outlet * Absorbent Glass Mat Battery, to allowing for minimal daily maintenance * safety belts * low to the ground for Veteran safety, entering and exiting vehicle; 8 approximate step * adjustable driver's seat * durable non-slip flooring or non-slip floor mats * weather resistant interior * Disc braking systems * Sturdy Suspension * Interior cabin lights * Adjustable Captain s chairs * Reverse lights
