Description

In accordance with the attached Solicitation and Statement of Work, Portsmouth Naval Shipyard requires the labor necessary for the repair and maintenance of the #1 and #2 Ships Service Turbine Generators (SSTGs) aboard a Virginia Class submarine.� Specifically, labor is required for the replacement of the inboard and outboard thrust bearing stators and for the axial sensor and wirewall modifications. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, and in accordance with the attached J&A, only one responsible source is capable of fulfilling this requirement.� Northrop Grumman Marine Systems (Cage Code 90099) is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and thus owns the proprietary data � including drawings, equipment, and approved processes � required to perform this work.�
