- The Department of Veterans Affairs anticipates soliciting quotes and subsequently awarding a contract for a project titled Automated Urinalysis Instrumentation . Any acquisition that follows this pre-solicitation notice will be conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and other applicable regulations. The solicitation will be advertised as Full and Open Competition. It is the intent of the Department of Veterans Affairs to establish a contract for Automated Urinalysis Instrumentation. The contract shall be Cost per Test (CPT)/ Cost per Reportable Result (CPRR), Clinical Laboratory Analyzers. Location will be VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System, 975 Kirman Avenue, Reno, NV 89502. The government intends to award one firm fixed price contract with a base year and four one-year options. NAICS code for this acquisition is 334516. The solicitation documents will be issued on or about January 12, 2021 and will be posted on beta.SAM.gov. This date is subject to change. Hard copy documents will not be available all documents for quoting purposes will be posted at this website for download. Quotes will be due approximately 7 days after issuance of solicitation unless extended by amendment. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of quotes. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this announcement.
