Item 5 should read: --White glove delivery by factory trained, qualified service technicians (includes removal of three existing cabinets). HOUR & DATE for Receipt of Offers is EXTENDED to: 01-17-2021 16:00 EST Page 2 of 2 Additional information regarding BAKER STERILGARD 604 E3 CLASS II TYPE A2 CABINET and FLEXAIR CANOPY EXHAUS CONNECTION: There will be no photos of the existing bio safety cabinets. The old cabinets will be removed and taken to the scrap yard at the back of the facility. The cabinets will be on a 3rd floor and there is a service elevator. Only the legs of the current units needs to be removed to lower them through doors and elevators. There will be no access of the VA IT network. April 1, 2021 is the need date. The sizes are as follows for both current and new cabinets: Specifications: Interior Dimension (w x d x h): 70"" x 24 9/16"" x 27 7 /16"" Usable Workspace (w x d): 68"" x 19 5 /8"" Exterior Dimensions (w x d x h): 77 3/4"" x 30 11/16"" x 61 3/4"" Cabinet Weight (lbs): 771 Shipping Weight (lbs): 1,020 Opening Max.: 20"" Note from end user regarding arrival of the cabinets: The vendor will NOT be moving through any COVID or patient care areas. They will unload at the warehouse dock, or send the units ahead of the installers a few days or weeks in advance. The warehouse receiving section will check the units in. The vendor installers will arrive to pick up the units from the warehouse after they have removed the existing units. This process can take more than a week if needed. However, once the removal of the units begin, it s expected that the new units are already in the facility warehouse pending pick-up by the vendor and delivery to the 3rd floor Research unit (B337). This is a secure wing of the hospital.
