- Please note that this is NOT a request for quotes or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Department of Veterans Affairs, James J. Peters VA Medical Center, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2 is conducting a market survey for vendors capable of providing Preventive maintenance and repair on Dock Levelers and Rolling Doors at the New York Harbor Healthcare System, Manhattan campus. The Contractor shall be responsible for preventive maintenance and repairs of both electric and manual operated dock levelers and rolling steel doors to maintain dependable operation of the equipment (See, Equipment Inventory list below). The Contractor shall inspect and service in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations, prevailing industry standards and local, state and national codes. The vendor shall inspect, test and provide general cleaning for all dock levelers and rolling steel doors. Every leveler and rolling doors will be tested, inspected and activated to ensure full function. Equipment Shop Location PMI Dock levelers and Rolling Doors Electrical Loading Dock Three(3) Dock Levelers TBD Loading Dock Three (3) Rolling Doors TBD The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 811310 (Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance) and the standard size is $8 million. The Product Service Code (PSC) is J034 (Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment- Metalworking Machinery). All responses to this notice MUST be submitting in writing and emailed to charnell.cunningham@va.gov and must be received not later than January 19, 2021 at 10:00AM EST. Interested parties shall provide company/individual name, a capability statement, examples of same or similar work performed at other facilities (resumes), DUNS number and address, point of contact and social-economic. Interested parties who do not submit the above information on or before the response due date and time may not be considered for this procurement. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification/socioeconomic status (service-disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, women owned small business, HUB Zone, 8(a), small business or large business), relative to NAICS 811310. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced separately, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement.
