- 12�JAN 2021 UPDATE: A Virtual Industry Day is planned to be held using MS Teams on Friday, January 29, 2021. Vendors interested in attending the Virtual Industry Day should submit a request for the meeting invite along with the company�s questions pertaining to the updated Factor 2 BVTO language NLT 1200 Friday, January 22, 2021. All questions and meeting invite requests should be emailed to Jaclyn.evans@navy.mil, with a cc to susan.ferralli@navy.mil, and shall include the company name, participant title, and email address. Vendors should be aware that the Government will select questions to answer during the Virtual Industry Day so proprietary information should not be included. Those questions not answered live, may be answered as an update to the RFI posting after the Industry Day. ******************************************************************************* 07 JAN 2021 UPDATE: The response date for this posting is extended through 22 January 2021. The Navy is currently working on scheduling a forum with Industry to discuss what updates were made to the Factor 2 BVTO language and to ensure that Industry has a complete understanding of the intent behind these changes. This live forum will offer Industry an opportunity to ask questions and provide any feedback on the updated Factor 2 BVTO language. Additional information on the upcoming Industry Day will be included in this beta SAM posting by COB Monday 11 January 2021. ******************************************************************************* This is a sources sought�notice in accordance with FAR 15.201. The Naval Sea Systems Command, SEA 0244 Surface Ship Repair�Contracts Branch�is conducting market research to obtain�industry feedback on draft Factor 2 Best Value Trade Off evaluation language. NAVSEA is requesting any and all feedback be submitted electronically�to the POCs addressed below.
