**01/13/21: SITE VISIT SIGN-IN SHEETS POSTED** **12/21/20: REFERENCE DRAWINGS POSTED (2 FILES)** **SUMMARY OF CHANGES POSTED** The Government hereby issues the�solicitation for the Fort Randall Major Unit Rehab.� The solicitation closes on 25 March 2021 at 2pm Central.��The solicitation is Unrestricted and Open to Both Large and Small Business Participation.� � ***UPDATED SITE VISIT INFORMATION*** Site visit dates will be 12 and 13 Jan 2021 beginning at 09:00 AM. Contractors must provide a list of attendees and preferred date no later than 22 Dec 2020.� Due to COVID 19 restrictions, potential bidders will be limited to a single day on site and the number of attendees may be restricted if necessary.� Non-US citizen attendees must be identified to the Government NO LATER THAN 17 Dec 2020 to ensure prior approval is obtained.� To facilitate the necessary travel arrangements, the approved site visit date will be provided by the Government to each contractor no later than 28 Dec 2020.� During the site visit one unit will be dewatered and penstock open for turbine inspection.� The turbine maintenance platform will be installed.� The generator housing will be open with three upper hatches removed and will be available for inspection and measurements.� The shrouds are far enough from the machine to allow an adult to easily sit upright with complete access to the full end windings, finger plates, and circuit rings around the entirety of the machine. Stator frame wrapper inspection covers will be removed. A radiator will be removed in the vicinity of a frame split.� Spare parts (e.g., coils and stator laminations) are in a warehouse and may be brought to the powerhouse for inspection. Contractors interested in attending the site visit must make reservation with and forward non-US Citizen requests to Robin Puskar by e-mail at Robin.L.Puskar@usace.army.mil. Contractors are to meet at the Powerhouse on the assigned date.
