- MOUNT ELBERT STATION SERVICE BREAKER REHAB - EASTERN COLORADO: The Bureau of Reclamation anticipates awarding a Purchase Order to perform services for 600V power circuit breakers and the associated switchgear structure for the Mt. Elbert Pumped Storage and Power Plant. The lineup is an ITE with K-Line breakers. The facility is located at Twin Lakes, Colorado, 81251. The work will consist of rebuilding the power circuit breakers at the Contractor�s shop. During the period of performance of the contract, Reclamation will ship circuit breakers, one or two at a time, to the Contractor�s shop for rebuilding. In conjunction with the rebuild, the Contractor shall replace the breakers� existing trip units with new AC-PRO trip units. There are four (4) 1600A breakers and seventeen (17) 600A breakers. Additional work performed under this contract shall include, at a time to be determined by the facility within the period of performance, having the Contractor mobilize at the facility to clean and inspect the switchgear structure, and perform testing and maintenance as required (six (6) vertical sections); this work shall include testing the panel-mounted devices. The contractor shall furnish detailed logs for the individual breakers and structure describing the work performed, parts refurbished or replaced, and electrical and mechanical test results. The period of performance for this work is anticipated to be within 24 months after award. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 811310. The small business standard size is $8 million. This procurement is being advertised as a 100% Small Business Set Aside. More details will be provided for this procurement in Solicitation 140R6021Q0009 which is tentatively scheduled to be available on or about January 26, 2021 at https://beta.sam.gov. Response dates for quotes is tentatively scheduled for February 26, 2021.
