Description

Barnes Hall is a three story residential dormitory that houses 136 rooms/136 Airmen assigned to Grand Forks AFB. Barnes Hall is primarily made of brick/concrete material with a total area of 61,020 sqft (3 floors X 20,340 sqft) When inside the building and when in close proximity to the building, there is a noticeable decrease to nonexistent cellular signal throughout and around the building. The existence of poor or no cellular signal within and around the building is a cause of concern as this reduces the ability of residence to use their cellular devices for communications especially in emergency situations. The Government is seeking a turn-key solution that effectively address the stated problem set, hence elevating and enhancing cellular signal within and around the exterior perimeter of Barnes Hall.
