- REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) 36C26221Q0059 VHA Loma Linda Healthcare System: Dickson Temperature and Humidity Touchscreen Monitor Systems COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION GENERAL INFORMATION This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 - Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, in conjunction with FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures; and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This RFQ is set-aside for small businesses. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-05, dated August 13, 2019. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 22 Network Contracting Office is issuing a Request For Quote (RFQ) #36C26221Q0059 for interested small business sources with the size classification relative to NAICS codes 334515 or (related) that can supply the Veterans Affairs Loma Linda Healthcare System with Temperature and Humidity Touchscreen Monitor Systems to attach to an existing system. Dickson's data loggers provide precise and compliant monitoring for just about any application. Data loggers allow you to proactively monitor sensitive materials, storage areas, production environments and more with dynamic features such as audible and visual alarms, digital displays, replaceable sensors, and flash memory for easy downloading and report analysis. Receive Real Time Alerts If A Cooler's Temperature Is Outside of Its Nominal Range of 64 Degrees Fahrenheit. Includes access to all data logger and location information in the cloud. Must have FIPS14-2 certification Requirements Dickson One is a network connected system, the monitors must connect with the systems network in place. The devices communicate on either Port 80 (HTTP) or Port 443 (HTTPS) The default communication is Port 443 (HTTPS) All communication is generated by the device no opening of ports is necessary as there are no incoming commands/control/access for these devices The devices have a proprietary OS/firmware (NOT Windows CE, Linux, Android, etc.) Devices support both Wi-Fi and ethernet 2.4Ghz B/G/N network types Support WEP, WPA Personal, WPA Enterprise, WPA2 Personal, and WPA2 Enterprise (with some certificates) TWEs are proxy aware while DWEs are not (coming soon!) Devices are not compatible with a captive portal without additional network configuration (whitelisting MAC addresses) Devices can be configured in either DHCP or via a static IP address. If using DHCP, ensure the devices can receive their own IP addresses via your DHCP server. Can communicate securely via HTTPs port 443 as well as the standard HTTP port 80. The devices are shipped with port 443 opened by default. All communication is generated by the device no opening of ports is necessary as there are no incoming commands/control/access for these devices. Delivery Date: Delivery shall be 30 days from date of award. If your company is submitting an equal brand, please provide explanation of how your quote is equal to the description in this RFQ and your response must address each salient characteristic. Submitting a Quote: Offeror(s) shall submit their quote on company letterhead and shall include the completed pricing forms, along with their name, address, the telephone number of the offeror, the firm s DUNS#, and total price. Offerors shall have completed FAR Clause 52.212-3 Offerors Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items in Systems for Award Management SAM at www.sam.gov as required by FAR Clause 52.212-3 Offerors Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items. All offerors shall be an authorized distributor by the manufacturer and must be able to offer full manufacturer warranties for products delivered to the Government. Award will be made to the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) quote. Responses to this RFQ are due by January 22, 2021 at 3:00pm Pacific Standard Time (PST).
