Description

The Government is issuing this Sources Sought Notice to determine a competitive basis. This is not a solicitation. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this survey. This questionnaire is for market research purposes only. Only contractors capable of performing this type of work should respond to this notice. Requirement The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Nashville District, anticipates soliciting a requirement for a firm fixed price construction contract to replace the existing EPDM roof at Electronic Service Section located at 15 Overlook Circle, Hendersonville, TN 37075.� The structure consists of a single story 48�x179� footprint. The existing roof is composed of a loose laid EPDM with a rock ballast. The contractor will be required to remove the existing ballast and store on site. The existing EPDM will be removed entirely and replaced with new loose laid grade 90 PVC. The contractor will inspect and remove existing insulation that is saturated or damaged. Material will be fully adhered to the parapet walls utilizing an adhesive. The rock ballast will then be placed back onto the roof. Additional ballast may be required to meet current standards. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The anticipated NAICS code is 238160, Roofing Contractors, with a small business size standard of $16.5 million in annual receipts.
