Description

The project scope includes the repair/replacement of the lower base/waterfront 13.8KV electrical feeders R7P/R8P and associated equipment including transformers, switches, panelboards and secondary conductors.� The project will transfer existing R7P/R8P loads to other circuits. R7P/R8P air switchgear in Building 29 including switches SW1, SW2, SW3, SW4, SW861, SW862, SW863 and SW864 will be replaced with new SF6 switchgear which will continue to feed Pier 12.� New SCADA capable motor operated SF6 sectionalizing switches will be installed adjacent to buildings 17 and 85.� Transformers TX532 and TX738 will be replaced with new 15KV transformers.� New 15KV EPR cable will replace existing R7P/R8P 15KV lead cable in sections to remain.� Existing ductbanks will be used where possible, however, new primary and secondary ductbanks will be installed where needed.�
