- THIS REVISION IS TO EXTEND THE RESPONSE DUE DATE ONLY The Nuclear Command Control and Communications (NC3) Enterprise Center (formerly known as the Joint Systems Engineering and Integration Office, JSEIO), in its role as the NC3 Systems Engineer, is tasked by the Joint Staff to produce materials and provide support for NC2 Operational Assessments. These are comprised of realistic and appropriate scenario backgrounds and timelines, detailed and accurate scenario conferencing scripts and message injects, and other required assessment enabling materials and specified on-site support that is consistent with the SAV/CAV program. DISA is specifically tasked to complete requirements contained in several key DOD Directives and Joint Staff Instructions - most notable for this work: CJCSI 5119.01 �The Charter for the Centralized Direction, Management, Operation and Technical Support of the Nuclear C2 System.� The criticality and visibility of this work is high, testing the support the CCMDs are tasked provide to the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS), Secretary of Defense (SECDEF) and the President of the United States (POTUS). The requirement is to provide a high quality product that meets strict Joint Staff criteria for content as well as meeting very strict and non-negotiable delivery timelines. This technical support requires the application of a wide range of highly specialized knowledge and skills pertaining to the intricacies of national level nuclear C2 operations and procedures governed by EAPs, CJCS Instructions, and associated implementing instructions and directives.
