- Description
- The U.S. Army Contracting Command Redstone (ACC-R) is issuing this sources sought as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support a requirement in the burning and disposal of 72 tons maximum of paper documents. Type of documents to be burned are of both classified and unclassified nature. The location for work performed is Building 3300, 3301 and 3303 Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898. These buildings are all positioned within a mile of each other. Interested businesses must be local to the Redstone Arsenal area. The Period of Performance (PoP) for this requirement is over a 12 month period, distributing work on a once-per-month basis. The Government maintains a preferred and alternative method for completion of this requirement. Preferred Method: A contractor that possesses a security clearance is to collect documents to be burned from each TAGM facility and transport to their burn facility. Further, the personnel obtaining materials for disposal at TAGM facilities must also possess a security clearance. When contractor personnel arrive at the designated locations, TAGM personnel will load material for disposal into contractor vehicle. Upon arrival to the burn facility, the contractor must download acquired documents, prepare them for disposal, and burn all contents. No Government assistance will be rendered if the contractor performs in this method; no TAGM representative will accompany or witness the disposal. Burn dates shall be coordinated between contractor and TAGM Security. Alternative Method, to be used if contractor does not possess a clearance: The contractor would provide a burn facility for TAGM project office. The material for burning would be transported by TAGM personnel to the burn facility, where the contractor must download, prepare and burn all received contents. This process will be witnessed by TAGM personnel, and observed until the disposal is complete. Burn dates shall be coordinated between contractor and TAGM Security.
