- Contract type is cost plus fixed fee. This contract is for the performance of healthcare where the exact level of effort is unknown as it is uncertain how many individuals will enroll in the program, how many of those individuals that will require medical treatment, and the extent of the medical treatment and benefits coordination that each individual may require. As a result, it is difficult to obtain the services on a firm fixed-price basis; therefore, a cost reimbursement type contract was in the best interest of the Government.
