Description
On or about 20 January 2021, the Government intends to issue a solicitation for ""Oahe Little Bend Bank Stabilization"". The solicitation will close on or about 4 February 2021.�The solicitation is restricted to Small Businesses"". Site Visit: A Site Visit will be scheduled and additional information regarding the site visit will be provided in the solicitation via FAR Clause 52.236.27. The site visit will be announced at a later date. Project Description: This project is for the implementation of bank stabilization measures in Sully County, SD adjacent to Lake Oahe/Oahe Dam Project. The work will consist of bank and slope protection of approximately 5,800 linear feet and 13,000 tons of rip rap on Lake Oahe on the site herein referred to as the �Little Bend� in Sully County, South Dakota. The work will consist of cutting, regrading, and compacting the existing bank to provide the proper slope for the placement geotextile fabric and rip rap stone. The contractor will be limited to the designated areas for operations. The work is located on Lake Oahe approximately 30 miles upstream from Pierre, SD and 40 miles southwest of Oneida, SD�in the Little Bend Recreation Area. The exact location of the work will be provided by the Contracting Officer's Representative at the time of the solicitation. The Contractor will be required to commence work upon receipt of contract award and completed 365 days after receipt of Notice to Proceed, this is subject to change after solicitation issuance.� Obtaining Solicitation Documents:� Solicitation documents will be posted to the web via via Beta SAM.gov (beta.sam.gov).
