Description

The Air Force Test Center, Installation Operational Contracting Division, Eglin AFB, Florida intends to solicit and award a brand-name firm-fixed price contract for three (3) Safran telemetry data recorders and components as outlined in the attached documents.�The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334511, Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing, with a size standard of 1,250 employees. This is a full and open acqusition.� This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13.106, Soliciting Competition, Evaluation of Quotations or Offers, Award and Documentation, as supplemented with additional information included in the attached documents.� This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quotation is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.� This requirement is restricted for brand name only in accordance with (IAW) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), the Contracting Officer has determined the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. Questions concerning this combined synopsis/solicitation shall be emailed to both the Contract Specialist, Sarah Funkhouser at sarahanne.funkhouser@us.af.mil and the Contracting Officer, John Riffe at john.riffe@us.af.mil.� Questions shall be submitted no later than Tuesday, 26 Jan 2021 at 12:00 P.M. Central Standard Time.
