- Description
- This requirement is being solicited as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. This effort is a commercial Idefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract that will consits of five (5) ordering periods. A brief description is posted below. This is a commercial, competitive supply acquisition. Delivery orders will be issued against an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (ID-IQ) ordering contract. The contractor is not to perform until receiving a signed Delivery Order for the specific work. This acquisition addresses the acquisition of turn-key Printed Wiring Assemblies (PWAs) from layout, fabrication, through assembly. The acquisition includes manufacturing Printed Wiring Boards (PWBs) acquisitions. The acquisition also includes remove and or replace components in support of repair or replacement of components. The PWAs are simple to complex electronic designs that are used for prototype evaluation pre-production boards that support various projects. The designs are generated by our design engineers using Altium Designer and given to the board fabrication company who generates a layout to produce a Gerber file. The Gerber file is then used in the fabrication process to produce the Printed Wiring Board (PWBs). The PWBs are assembled with components at the assembly stage. The completed PWAs are shipped out as a completed prototype product along with any PWBs as required. If components were supplied and not used, they will be returned with the shipment. Designs mainly consist of analog and/or digital and high speed designs. Our typical PCBs are made of RF4 material (-40C to 125C) with a stack not exceeding 15 layers (typical stacks are 10 or less layers) and use all types of current packages on the market. There may be a special occasion when there will be a need to exceed 20 layers, but will not exceed 30 layers. The density of the board will vary depending on the application.
