Description: This is a Sources Sought/Market Research Notice to request information for Government planning purposes only.� Responses will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. The Government is not committed to issue a solicitation or award a contract as a result of this announcement.� As this is, a sources sought synopsis and not a solicitation for request for proposals or quotations, the Government does not encourage questions concerning this market research. The Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) � Fort Lee is seeking qualified and potential vendors capable of providing subscription for quarterly distribution of Defense & Aerospace Database briefings on CD-ROM.� Provides the following to include:� Forecasts and market analysis of several key aerospace and defense industries that include Aircraft, Missiles (PGMs), Defense Electronics, and Space, forecasts and analysis on individual systems and markets within each broad market forecast, forecasts for major weapons systems for both the US and the world, forecasts for shipbuilding, combat vehicles, ammo, and weapon sectors and report of major defense contractors around the World and US Defense Budget trends.� (Military Electronics Briefing, World Missiles & UAV Briefing, World Military & Civil Aircraft Briefing, World Space Systems Briefing).� �The project will be implemented using the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 334614 � Software & Other Prerecorded Compact Disc, Tape & Record Reproducing.� Size Standard:� 1,250 employees. DCMA is conducting this Sources Sought to identify all�business contractors who possess the capabilities to provide services as specified above and to determine their availability, capability and adequacy. If your firm may be interested in this requirement, is a qualified small business for the NAICS code 334614 (1,250 employees according to https://www.sba.gov/sites/default/files/files/Size_Standards_Table.pdf), and has performed similar projects, we request the information shown below. An organization that is not considered a small business under the applicable NAICS code should not submit a response to this notice. As permitted by FAR Part 10, this is a market research tool being utilized for informational and planning purposes. Your responses will assist the Government in the development of its acquisition strategy for a possible Request for Proposal (RFP) or Request for Quotation, to be issued at a later date, and in determining whether any type of small business set-aside is possible�for this procurement or whether full and open competitive procedures should be utilized. If full and open competition is ultimately pursued, responses to this synopsis will be used to aid in establishing small business subcontracting goals. Response is strictly voluntary - it is not mandatory to submit a response to this notice to participate in any formal RFP process that may take place in the future. However, it should be noted that information gathered through this notice may significantly influence our acquisition strategy. All interested parties will be required to respond separately to any solicitations posted as a result of this sources sought notice. Submission Instructions: Responses via email are due January 27, 2021 to Ms. Evette N Evans at Evette.n.evans.civ@mail.mil and must include the information requested below. Responses greater than 10 double-sided pages (including all attachments) will not be considered. Late responses will not be accepted. This is strictly market research and the Government will not entertain any questions. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. Qualified firms shall submit a statement of interest on company letterhead demonstrating the firm�s qualifications to perform the defined work. Responses must be complete and sufficiently detailed to address the specific information. In addition, include proof of satisfactory past performance on the referenced projects. Again, this information is being requested for Government planning purposes only and does not commit the Government to any contractual agreement. This is not a request for proposals. The Government will not award a contract based upon responses to this announcement. The Government shall not reimburse or pay any costs for preparing or submitting information in response to this notice.
