- The proposed contract action is to procure 26 each Probe Assemblies, Sampling (NSN 6665-12-326-6355) from Bruker Detection Company (CAGE 360H2), Part Number 03153, with an option to purchase 26 each more. ITEM:� Probe Assembly, Sampling END ITEM:� M113 Stryker, Nuclear Biological Chemical Reconnaissance Vehicle (NBCRV) NSN:� 6665-12-326-6355 PART #:� 03153 (CAGE 360H2) QUANTITY:� 26 Each OPTION:� 100%, 26 each INSPECTION/ACCEPTANCE:� Origin/Origin FOB:� Destination NAICS:� 334511 The NSN 6665-12-326-6355, part number 03153, is a Class IX repairable component of the M113 Stryker, Nuclear Biological Chemical Reconnaissance Vehicle (NBCRV). This unit probes for deadly biological chemicals by gathering small samples of dirt. The probe is a major component of the NBCRV M1135 Stryker. Bruker Detection Corporation is currently the only approved source with the technical knowledge and capability to manufacture the Probe. The Government does not have a competitive Technical Data Package (TDP) for this probe. The NBCRV M1135 has been supported by Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) since its development in 2005. The Program Manager Stryker Brigade Combat Team (PM SBCT) has not procured the TDP of the NBCRV M1135 or any of its spare parts since the production of the NBCRV.� Bruker maintains proprietary data rights for its detection technology, manufacturing processes, specialized equipment, and assembly techniques of the Probe.� -This notice is Not an open solicitation i.e., Invitation for Bid (IFB) or Request for Proposal (RFP). -Technical data is Not available for this item. -Qualification testing and evaluation Is required to become an approved source. -Source approval does Not guarantee business. -Qualifying as an approved source Only provides the opportunity to compete on future solicitations.
