Description

NASA/Johnson Space Center (JSC)�has a requirement for increasing the maximum ordering limit of the Base Information Technology Security (BITSec) Task Order issued under National Institute of Health�s (NIH) Chief Information Officer � Solutions and Partners 3 (CIO-SP3) Government-wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC), HHSN316201200059W. NASA/JSC intends to issue a sole source modification to increase the maximum ordering limit by $4,500,000 to the BITSec task order, NNJ16JB04T, under contract HHSN316201200059W with Cambridge International Systems Inc., for information technology (IT), security management and technical services in support of the JSC IT Security Program. �The current period of performance for BITSec is May 1, 2016, through October 31, 2021.� The increase in the ordering limit will allow for continuous services on the BITSec task order until IT security management and technical services can be transitioned to an Agency-wide contract.� The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort electronically via email to Gisela Moreno, gisela.a.moreno@nasa.gov not later than 4:30 p.m. Central Standard Time on February 8, 2021.� Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this acquisition on a competitive basis.� A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
