Description

The United States Army Corps of Engineers; Kansas City District requires the complete construction of a training facility with classrooms, simulator rooms, audio/visual production space, administration and support spaces at the CENAPRED campus in Mexico City, CDMX, Mexico. The project scope includes supporting facilities such as site improvements, electrical service, fire protection and alarm systems, water, sewer, gas, paving, walks, curbs, storm drainage, and sustainability/energy considerations. The primary facility is a 2,000 Square Meter (M�), two story with a basement rectangular structure. A small storage building must be demolished to accommodate the new facility, but no other demolition of structures will be required. All work for this project shall be performed and completed to the current International Building Code (IBC) and local regulations. The ENAPROC facility construction is part of the cooperation between the Government of the United States of America (USNORTHCOM) and the Government of Mexico � National Coordination of Civil Protection - CENAPRED/UNAM.
