Description

The Internal Revenue Service, Chief Counsel Library through the Office of Procurement, intends to award a Sole Source Award to West Publishing Corporation to procure�the FY21 annual subscription renewals for non-GSA print books and supplements on a sole source basis through the West Publishing Corporation using FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. These annual subscriptions for print books and supplements are used for in-depth legal and tax-related research. The print supplements and bound volumes provide updates to resources that have been long-standing fixtures in the Library's collection and associated offices. The print supplements are essential research tools as they bring the main print volumes up to date.� Additionally, new volumes are issued to replace and provide new content. It is the combination of new supplements and new volumes which brings print legal research resources up to date. Also, print materials provide access to graphical elements such as charts, pictures, graphs, mathematical/ accounting formulas which are oftentimes not reproduced in electronic resources. This will be a sole source requirement. NAICS code is 511120, and the small business standard is 1,000. This will be a sole source requirement.� This notice of intent is not a request for proposals. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government.
